  1. Wow, where to start? Um…wow. If this is what leftist Hollywood types think NASCAR is like, they’re even more clueless than I thought, and I didn’t set that bar very high. No NASCAR fan is going to find anything topically funny about this. And I can’t imagine even non-fans just looking for a decent comedy will find much to like here, either. The dialog in the trailer was wooden, the “jokes”, if you can call them that were childish and just unfunny. It’s exactly like what I would expect from clueless liberals trying to build a comedy around middle America. They just don’t get it. If they really want some insight into what typical normal, non-pretentious Americans are like (and what they find humorous), they should try listening to Clint Bowyer sometime. He was absolutely hilarious when NASCAR was doing virtual racing for a while during the lockdowns, and this coming season he will be in the booth as a commentator. Check him out sometime, and then compare to this dreck.
