  1. this appears to be a brilliant work. And I was so excited to see what happened next in this trailer. Right up until he went to jail. I just… We have to stop retelling stories about black men going to jail. I want to see black excellence. This could have been some Good Will Hunting type of ish… I’m not ready to watch this if he’s going to be in prison at the end. I don’t want to see that anymore. At all. That is not our story. Doesn’t have to be.

  2. What do you get when you have a Netflix movie with a black lead? A movie about racism every time. Only Netflix could make such a serious issue boring and contrived.
