  2. Thank you for sharing and great video, but I don’t mean any disrespect. The minor detail is incorrect. American School for the Deaf isn’t the first deaf school in the USA. America’s first deaf school was in Petersburg, VA. ASD was the second school with a formal deaf education. Shown the first school is on Jack R. Gannon’s “Deaf Heritage” book front cover. 🙂
