  1. As a Pansexual, polyamorous person. Polyamoury is different from open relationships etc, we have the capacity to truly fall in love with more than one individual and crave the same security and commitment from our 1+ partners in the same way someone who’s monogamous does. We’re polyamorous by orientation, where for example, some people are monogamous by orientation. It’s not a lifestyle choice, it’s how our brains and hearts are wired. At this same time though, it doesn’t mean to be in a relationship, we always have to have the poly part of ourselves fulfilled or active. Much like being in a relationship with a Pan/Bi/Polysexual/Omnisexual who’s monogamous doesn’t mean they are still looking at and pursuing other people. But just like anyone else in any other relationship, we can break things off for whatever reason. Needs are fluid and dynamic. If I fall in love with another person, and can’t also have them part of my life in a loving, meaningful way/can’t pursue it due to the partner I’m with now, I have the right/ability to reevaluate, just as they do.
