  1. Knowing the history behind the creation of The Umbrella Academy is just amazing. I’ve always been in love with character designing and creating stories. I find Gerard’s characters to be very unique and well-designed. There are distinct features in his characters and even in his own artstyle that makes it better.

And one thing I also love about these characters are their powers. I always say this when I recommend it to people… their powers are very unique. It’s just unusual… like Allison’s power, or Vanya’s power, Ben’s power, even Diego’s power is really unique. It’s kinda hard nowadays to think of powers that not everyone already did, and this comic/series has a lot. I have no words about the designing and the background process.

That’s why it’s really fun to know some details behind its origin. Like how he created Vanya, how he came up with Space Boy. It’s just so fun. I am hoping for more of this…. please
